Bookmarks
Overview
Bookmarks let you mark important locations in your project so you can quickly return to them during interpretation, review, and reporting.
Create a Bookmark
- Right-click in the main view.
- Select Create > Bookmark.
- Click in the scene to place the bookmark.
Bookmark Appearance and Properties
For each bookmark, you can manage:
- Name
- Comment
- Visibility (Visible or Invisible)
- Icon style
- Color
- Size
Available icon styles include:
- Flag
- Cross
- Star
- Target
- Gold
Show or Hide Bookmarks
- Use the Bookmark toggle in the Display panel to show or hide bookmarks globally.
- Individual bookmarks can also be set to visible or invisible from the bookmark list.
Navigate Between Bookmarks
- F2: go to the next bookmark
- F3: go to the previous bookmark
This is useful for fast review cycles and presentation walkthroughs.
Manage Bookmarks from the Bookmark List
Open the bookmark dialog list to manage bookmarks in one place.
From the list, you can:
- View and jump to selected bookmarks
- Edit properties
- Rename bookmarks
- Delete one or multiple bookmarks
- Use find-and-replace on selected bookmark text fields
- Import bookmarks from CSV
Recommended Usage
- Use a consistent naming style (for example:
Pit_A_North_01). - Add comments with context (domain, purpose, review note).
- Keep key review bookmarks visible and hide temporary working bookmarks.
- Use bookmarks to create reproducible review paths for team discussions.
