Object Selection
Overview
Object Selection lets you choose which type of object you want to interact with, then open its available actions.
How to Select Objects
- Open the selection menu.
- Choose the object type you want to target.
- Double-click an object with the left mouse button to open its available actions.
Selection Scope Options
- Select a specific object type when you want precise interaction.
- Use Select All when you want to pick from any displayed object type.
- If multiple objects are stacked, use the mouse wheel to cycle through available targets.
Main Object Groups
| Object Group | Typical Use |
|---|---|
| Drillhole database objects (Holes, Assays, Lithology, etc) | Read-only reference information from drillhole databases |
| CAD objects (Prisms, Lines) | Interpreted or designed shapes or lines |
| Mineralized Intervals | Defined Intervals for modelling |
| Tie Line | Used for creating meshed envelope with prism and tie line |
| Envelopes | 3D volumes |
| Blocks | Resource block model, usually derived from envelopes |
| Composites | Data points used for estimation |
| Ellipsoid | Search ellipsoids used for estimation |
Productivity Tips
- Press Ctrl+Tab to cycle through previously selected object types.
- Double-click any displayed object to open its context menu with information and operations.
