Daniel is a senior economic geologist with more than 25 years of diversified geological, mining, mineral processing, project management, corporate and executive experience. This includes a proven track record of successfully designing, evaluating, leading, managing and supervising multi-disciplinary greenfield to advanced exploration and development-mining stage projects on time and on budget for several commodities (i.e. gold, diamond, base metals, PGE’s, industrial minerals and gemstones) located in North America, South America, Africa, and Europe which led to the discovery and/or mine development of several projects. Mr. Leroux has also completed over 80 qualifying technical reports (NI 43-101, AIM and JSX compliant), project evaluation, country assessment and valuation reports on various commodities.

Mr. Leroux has extensive mineral processing experience in the design, commissioning, management, operation and data collection of various jig, rotary pan plant and DMS processing plants (from 5 to 65 tph) and various types of recovery plant equipment used for processing mini-bulk and large-scale kimberlite and/or diamond-bearing alluvial gravel bulk samples. Mr. Leroux also has extensive executive management, financing, corporate affairs experience and a large industry-wide contact network as Vice President of a Canadian based geological and mining consultancy, President and Vice President Exploration for a private Canadian junior mining company as well as provide corporate and technical advisory services for both private and public junior mining companies.

Mr. Yann Camus is a geological Engineer with SGS since 2000. Prior to joining SGS in 2000 Mr. Yann Camus had 5 brief work experiences in geology, hydrogeology and geophysics. Then he joined SGS and performed geostatistics and resource estimation for the last 15 years.

Since joining SGS Yann has executed a wide variety of projects from resource estimations,economic evaluations of deposits, and audits of resources and reserves internationally. Yann also offered training sessions on resource modeling and land surveying applied to mineral projects including training on software. He delivered presentations and reports to exploration and mining companies.

Since joining SGS Claude has executed a wide variety of projects from drill site visit, designing exploration program, resource estimations, economic evaluations of deposits, and audits of resources and reserves internationally.

Claude has prepared technical reports in English and French on a wide range of commodities, and can be considered a Qualified Person for geotechnical work. Recent work experiences have been geared more towards project management, proposal writing and assisting the office manager in multiple tasks.

Sabry Abdel Hafez is a senior mining engineer with more than 20 years of experience in open pit mine planning & design, economic evaluations and advanced financial analysis. Mine planning capabilities include open pit mine optimization and design using Whittle, MineSight, and Surpac, in addition to mine cost estimation and modeling using Xeras. Financial analysis capabilities range from building standard spreadsheet cash flow models to developing advanced simulation-based real options analysis models. He is experienced in contingency & risk analysis and Monte Carlo simulation using Crystal Ball and @Risk. He performed pit optimizations & designs and NI 43-101 reporting for several base metals, gold, coal, and aggregate mining projects in Canada and abroad.

Prior to joining SGS, Sabry has worked with Amec Americas Ltd (now called Amec Foster Wheeler) and Tetra Tech in British Columbia, in addition to mining research positions at Laval University and COSMO Stochastic Mine Planning at McGill University in Quebec.

Maxime Dupéré is a geologist graduated from Université de Montréal (1999) with a B.Sc. in geology. Prior to joining SGS in 2006 Maxime Dupéré worked 4 years as an exploration geologist with Dianor Resources (and Geos Sciences) on gold and Diamonds projects, assuming multiple roles from soil and sediment sampling to detailed cartography. Maxime also has gained experience in drill logging (Core and Reverse Circulation (RC)), sampling and supervision with Cassidy Gold, in Guinea, Africa as well with Ashton/SOQUEM (2006) for diamond resource estimation purposes.

Since joining SGS, Maxime has executed a wide variety of projects involving geostatistics and resource estimations of gold, iron and titanium-vanadium deposits, economic evaluations of narrow vein type gold deposits and audits of resources and reserves internationally.

Mrs. Lyne Maître is an environmental geographer with SGS since 2006. Mrs. Maître graduated from Université de Montréal (2001) with a B.Sc. in Environmental Geography, Physical environment orientation, and from Université du Québec à Montréal (2004) with a M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences. Two years of Geological Engineering at École Polytechnique (1999) and her work experience at SGS had also allowed her to participate in various geological projects.

Prior to joining SGS in 2006, Mrs. Maître had 4 work experiences in environmental site assessment (characterization and rehabilitation of contaminated land), analysis of the compliance of certificate of authorization applications for the Ministry of the Environment of Québec (for sandpits, quarries, asphalt plants, and environmental restorations), and in surveying, geomatics, and geology. Then she joined SGS and performed requests of various environmental permits to the government, environmental audits of mining sites, environmental sampling monitoring, surveying, geotechnical and geological field work, validation and management of database, geological modeling, geostatistics, and estimation of resource and reserve for the last 10 years. She also offered software training sessions on geological modeling.

She delivered reports to exploration and mining companies. She has prepared or participated in the preparation of numerous technical reports in French and English for a wide range of metals and commodities, for exploration and mining production companies.

Prior to joining SGS Geostat in 2011 Matthew Halliday worked with the business development department for SGS Canada Inc. Minerals department. Within business development he spent time discovering the geological needs of our clients, with a strong focus on discovering potential analytic requirements for exploration programs.

Prior to working for SGS Matthew developed his skills with many geological consulting firms including Mercator Geological Service in Nova Scotia and with SRK Consulting in British Columbia, where most of his experience is early field exploration with both geotechnical and geological core logging.

Since joining SGS Geostat, Matthew has developed his skills in exploration, drilling supervision and logging, sampling selection, resources estimation, geostatistics and MMI orientation surveys and GIS. He has also accomplished many database related jobs from analysing multiple databases for inconsistencies to rebuilding geological databases. He is familiar with most common database management systems.

Marc-Antoine Laporte graduated from Laval University with a M.Sc. in geochemistry and petrology. Marc-Antoine specialized in ore deposit geology, regional to deposit scale targeting and project management.

Prior to joining SGS he work with Falcondbrige exploration team at Raglan Mine and 7 years with Anglo American where he was in charge of North American project generation and work as a project geologist gaining experience on large scale drill program, geochemical and geophysical survey, field mapping and project management. He also works as Senior Geologist with North American Palladium on their greenfield\brownfield program around the Lac des Iles Mine (PGE)

Since joining SGS in 2016 Marc-Antoine has worked as a consulting geologist for exploration, exploration targeting and 3D modeling. Marc-Antoine has prepared technical reports in English and French on a wide range of commodities and his Qualified Person for a number of deposits including Ni-Cu-PGE magmatic deposit, intrusion related PGE, VMS Cu-Au-Mo porphyry.

As part of his work Mr. Poupart has developed a very special expertise in algorithmic of projections, scene graphs, calculation of mineral resources and requirements and software processes in this area. He also gained extensive knowledge of the software architecture of CAD and GIS and interoperability problems in these areas at the level of exchange formats.

He also learned specific technologies, for example, the HOOPS and Irrlicht graphic engines and the SQLite embedded database engine or the Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) used in the software suite developed in-house (Geostat , SectCad, BlkCAD, PolyCad and GENESIS) ; he has also has developed the software library architecture (Geostat Domain Framework) used in this software suite.

With SGS Since 2006 Mr. Babin has gained very good knowledge in many types of programming. During the course of his work, he has gained experience and knowledge in geostatistics, and statistical tools. Besides his computing knowledge, Mister Babin also gets involved on the ground; he participated in certain campaigns of drilling, was a member of a geotechnical team and so made several entrances of data for various clients.
